UK stärkt Status als globales Zentrum für klinische Studien

Das National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), Innovate UK, das Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre Network und das Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult (CGT Catapult) haben eine strategische Initiative im Wert von fast 18 Millionen Pfund angekündigt. Ihr 17,9-Millionen-Pfund-Investitionsprogramm soll das britische Umfeld für klinische Studien zu Arzneimitteln für neuartige Therapien (ATMP) verbessern und den globalen Status des Vereinigten Königreichs als bevorzugter Standort für die Forschung zu fortgeschrittenen Therapien aufrechterhalten, sagte der Geschäftsführer von Innovate UK für gesundes Leben und gesundes Leben Landwirtschaftsdomäne Dr. Stella Peace. Two anti-inflammatory molecules reduce the inflammatory response within the injured heart and reduce scarring, according to new research published in The American Journal of Pathology. Research into the protective effects of two anti-inflammatory molecules, transforming growth factor-beta1 (TGF?1) and Heligmosomoides polygyrus TGM (HpTGM), following heart attack found that both proteins reduced the inflammatory response within the injured heart and reduced mature scarring. Anti-inflammatory therapy to treat patients following acute myocardial infarction is an exciting prospect that deserves further translational studies, report investigators in The American Journal of Pathology, published by Elsevier. Das Institut für Radiologie im Klinikum Frankfurt (Oder) wurde zum Jahresbeginn neu strukturiert und in zwei Bereiche aufgeteilt. Prof. Dr. med. Jazan Omari, Experte für bildgeführte Tumortherapien, wechselte vom Universitätsklinikum Magdeburg ins Klinikum Frankfurt (Oder), und verantwortet nun als Chefarzt den Ausbau der Diagnostischen und Interventionellen Radiologie. Der Bereich der Neuroradiologie wird weiterhin von Chefarzt Dr. med. Andreas Schilling geleitet. Prof. Dr. med. Jazan Omari (33) absolvierte sein Medizinstudium an der Universität Hamburg.
