Forscher von UTHealth Houston berichteten am 17. Mai 2024 im Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) Network Open über einen signifikanten Zusammenhang zwischen dem Konsum elektronischer Zigaretten und dem früheren Asthma-Ausbruch bei Erwachsenen in den USA .
